Step 1: Apply base coat to the nail
- The base coat can be applied under the free edge as well. If the nail has pitting, striations, or ridges, use ridge filling base coat. It is self-leveling, and will help the nail to appear smooth after the translucent polish is applied.
- - “V” Styles apply white or Ivory polish to the free edge by starting at one side (usually left side of nail) and sweeping across toward the center of the free edge on a diagonal line. Repeat this on the right site of the nail, this will form a “V”, Try to have an even line across the free edge.
- - “CURVE” Styles apply white or Ivory polish to the free edge by starting at one side (usually left side of nail) and sweeping curve toward the other side of the free edge. Repeat this on the right site of the nail, this will form a perfect cure of each nail. (exposed the nail bed color).
- Allow the white polish to dry. Apply a Original, Natural, Peach, Mauve or Vanilla color polish to the entire surface of the nail. Choose the color according to skin tone and client preference.
